  • To hold a reservation, we'll need complete information for everyone attending
  • Once you make a reservation, you will have Two Weeks to mail a $10 (Ten Dollar) NON-Refundable Deposit, per person - per trip, to keep your reservation for a Day Trip. If JKL Tours does not receive a deposit, your reservation will automatically cancel.
  • The Deposit for an overnight trip is $50 (Fifty Dollars) per person
  • Waitlists - because of our success, we have had waitlists for trips. There is no cost to hold your spot on a waitlist AND quite often waitlist people do get called to go!

Chocolate and Wine are now considered HEALTH FOODS – if you have the right kind and in moderation!  Come join us to enjoy getting healthy on this Valentine adventure.  We’ll start by visiting Harry London Chocolates, hearing their history, enjoying free samples and learning about their line of artisan chocolates.  We’ll visit the charming Cherry Road Winery in Massillon for wine sampling.  Next, we’ll have tastings AND lunch at the enticing Gervasi Winery.  This Tuscan-like village has an outstanding reputation for both its wine and ambience, and our visit there will include a walking tour of their complex.  We’ll stop into quaint Hartville Chocolates, where their specialty is chocolate-covered Strawberries.  And we’ll complete our day in a turn-of-the-century barn at the delightful Maize Valley Winery & Farm Market.  Our hosts will provide their history and you get to choose which wines you want to sample from their extensive wine list.

“SLEUTH!” at the Hanna Theatre with lunch at Pier W!

The Hanna Theatre at Playhouse Square is continuing their successful Mystery Series by presenting the Broadway Award winner, “SLEUTH!”   This drama is set in the English Manor House of a successful mystery writer in the ultimate game of cat-and-mouse, as stories are tangled with a web of white lies.  The  writer invites a young rival to the mansion, as a guest who shares his love of game-playing and also shares the writer’s wife!  Revenge is a dish devised, while murders are plotted and the two game players plan the ultimate whodunnit.  As with previous mysteries at the Hanna, (Misery, Witness for the Prosecution, etc.) there are plot twists and turns that will have you on the edge of your seat to the surprising end!  Our morning matinee will be followed with an elegant lunch at PIER W. Beat the Mid-Winter blues with a great, one day escape.

Here is your chance to enjoy a Spring vacation where the average daytime temperature is a Sunny, 68 Degrees.  We’ll head out on Monday with dinner and a hotel enroute, arriving in Myrtle Beach on Tuesday afternoon, in time for dinner and to see “ONE – The SHOW,” at the Alabama Theatre.  This is a Las Vegas style variety show of singing, dancing, glitz and glamour.  On Wednesday, we’ll enjoy a morning show, “The Pure Magic Show,” that combines magic, comedy and sleight of hand that keeps the audience amazed.  We’ll have time to explore the waterfront from the Boardwalk and dip our toes in the Atlantic Ocean before dinner and evening show of “Legends in Concert,” with amazing tribute artists.  On Thursday, we’ll take in “The Man of 1,000 Voices,” as James Stephens channels rock stars, comedians, Presidents and more.  In the afternoon, we’ll explore the Barefoot Landing shopping complex built along the intracoastal waterway, as a quaint  

and charming Southern shopping village.  At night, we’ll enjoy dinner and then the fabulous “CAROLINA OPRY,” with two hours of high energy music, dance and comedy. We’ll start for home on Friday and on our way, we’ve even included a visit to Mayberry!  We’ll tour the Andy Griffith Museum in Mt. Airy, No. Carolina, the real home of Mayberry.  You’ll have a chance to eat at the Snappy Lunch or get a haircut at “Floyd’s Barbershop!”  before we arrive home on Saturday.

 “Ain’t Misbehavin is a musical journey that transports us to a Harlem Nightclub where the music and excitement of the Roarin’ Twenties are in the spotlight.  We’ll be dazzled with a parade of hits, like “I Can’t Give You Anything But Love, BABY,” and more.  This show highlights the change in music from the JAZZ age to the new beat known as the SWING era!  Five talented performers present a show that moves and sparkles with fun, toe-tapping songs of the day. Highlighted by the music of Fats Waller, this show reflects his life’s journey that was dedicated to pleasure and play.  Similar to our previous trips to see Forever Plaid and Million Dollar Quartet, (that Sold Out quickly,) we’ll enjoy lunch at Windows on the River, after the morning show  (Note: Space is limited because of the many groups we have attending.)

Enjoy a very special night of theatre at Playhouse Square as ”My Fair Lady” is one of the best, romantic musical comedies of all time.  We’ll follow the story of Professor Henry Higgins, a pompous speech professor and a Cockney, working class girl, Eliza Doolittle.  The professor is obnoxious in his attempt to take a lowly flower girl and transform her into a high society lady, just by changing her speech.  He wagers a friend he can teach her “proper” English, but Ms. Doolittle only agrees in order to improve her job prospects (and a way out of the streets.)  Higgins and Eliza clash while unknowingly developing a bond that turns romantic, (especially when FREDDIE, a love-smitten suitor comes along!)  This show has a treasure trove of songs “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly,” “The Rain in Spain,” “On the Street Where You Live,” “Get Me to The Church On Time,” and  more, making it one of Broadway’s most loved shows.  Come enjoy theatre magic with Main floor seats to see one of the finest Broadway musicals to come to Playhouse Square.  (Note: theatre seats are limited.)

The history of the Bible vividly comes to life at the Ark Encounter, just south of Cincinnati, in Kentucky.  In an amazing architectural accomplishment, Amish craftsmen have created a full-size “NOAH’S ARK,” built according to the dimensions given in the Bible (510 feet LONG.)  Our whole day there will allow us to explore the three floors offering scores of exhibits about the Flood, Noah and his family and the animals they cared for. 

      We’ll travel to the Cincinnati area on our first day and check into our hotel (with dinner included) and our big day is Tuesday, where we’ll have the entire day to explore, discover and be amazed at the breath-taking displays that bring the pages of the Bible to life.  We’ll have dinner included enroute back to our hotel.  On Wednesday, we’ll explore The Queen City of Ohio including a sight-seeing Riverboat cruise followed by dinner and we’ll head home on Thursday.  JKL Tours is co-hosting with DIAMOND TOURS, so call for a detailed flyer.

“ALWAYS. . . PATSY CLINE” at Rabbit Run Theatre

Join us for a wonderful night of Summer Stock theatre as we learn the true story of this small town, country gal and her rise to stardom.  This show tells the story of Patsy’s chance meeting with a fan, LOUISE, in a Texas honky-tonk, and their life-long friendship.  Louise chronicles Patsy’s life as our narrator, including the many ups and downs.  It weaves 20 of her classic hits to move the story along including “I Fall to Pieces,” “Walking at Midnight,” “Anytime,” “Back in Baby’s Arms,” and her most famous song, “CRAZY!”  

JKL TOURS has had wonderful trips to Rabbit Run (since 2011) that tend to sell out.  There is something special about enjoying great theatre and looking out as the night transforms from dusk to dark.  Plus, the talented actors at Rabbit Run put their heart and soul into giving the audience a great night of theatre.

If you’re a PATSY fan it will be hard to keep from singing along – SO WE ADDED that in!  Rabbit Run will have a few Sing-Alongs for us to join in!  Prior to the show, we’ll enjoy dinner at FERRANTE’S WINERY

The Western Frontier Stampede in Shipshewana

Here is a unique trip that combines shopping, a terrific lunch and a special matinee concert that will take you back to the 50’s & 60’s, seeing The Zmed Brothers perform their tribute to The EVERLY Brothers!

We’ll start our day at the Hartville Shopping complex with Fall in full swing and the shopping opportune- ities range from Flea Market finds to Ohio’s Largest Hardware store and everything in between.  After our morning of bargain hunting, we’ll enjoy a superb lunch in a private ballroom of the Hartville Kitchen, and no one leaves hungry.  It is a plated lunch that comes out hot and plenty of it, including desert!

After lunch, we’ll stay in our seats for a stroll down memory lane to see and hear “The Everly Brothers Experience!”  This tribute show is presented by The Zmed Brothers, Dylan and Zachary, who are sons of Adrian Zmed (Danny Zuko from GREASE!)   As kids, they were heavily influenced by the music of Grease, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly and of course, the Everly Brothers!  Here is your chance to hear classic tunes, like “Bye Bye Love,” “Wake Up Little Susie,” “When Will I Be Loved?” “All I Have To Do Is Dream,” and many more.  Come join us for this nostalgic day of Fun and classic ‘50s/’ ‘60s music. This will be our ELEVENTH year offering a trip to see the jewels of Canadian Theatre – Shaw Festival and Stratford Festival.  We’ll take in two delightful areas with Broadway-quality shows at a great time of the year to travel. We start at Niagara Falls to check into our hotel for two nights with an elegant and scenic dinner at the QUEENSTON Heights Restaurant with a fabulous view of the Niagara Gorge!

At The Shaw, we’ll take in GYPSY!”   This Tony Award winning show tells the story of Gypsy Rose Lee and the ultimate stage mom, Mama Rose.  This musical has classic songs like “Let Me Entertain You” and “Everything’s Coming Up Roses” to move the story along and engage the audience. 

On Friday, we’ll travel to Stratford for time at the little town before the matinee, as The Stratford Festival will put their magical touch on the raucous, “CHICAGO!”  This show is a dazzling spectacle as a crimes of passion result in celebrity headlines and nightclub star, Velma Kelly, competes with spotlight stealing, Roxie Hart for attention.  They also compete for Billy Flynn, the slickest lawyer in town who has a talent for turning defendants into celebrities!  The “Cell Block Tango,” and “All That JAZZ,” are two of the many songs that make this show sizzle.

Our trip also includes a wonderful buffet dinner in Stratford at the Festival Inn, and breakfast at our hotel on Saturday before returning to spend time on the delightful main street of Niagara-on-the-Lake!  Combine spectacular Broadway-quality shows in the charming Canadian country side, at a wonderful time of the year to travel and you’ll see why this trip sells out!

Here is your chance to enjoy a wonderful Autumn adventure in beautiful Asheville, No. Carolina, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains.  We’ll head out early on Monday, arriving at our Asheville area hotel with dinner included.  Tuesday will be our day to visit the spectacular BILTMORE ESTATE.  Entering the Mansion for a self-guided walking tour is like time travel back over a century to view priceless works of art and stunning furnishings, and learn how the elite of the early 1900’s lived like American royalty.  We’ll have time to walk the historic Gardens meticulously designed and created to offer a peaceful retreat.  Biltmore has created “Antler Village,” a relaxing area on the estate with shopping, dining, historical exhibits and another way to experience Biltmore’s ambience.  We’ll enjoy dinner enroute back to our hotel.

On Wednesday after breakfast in our hotel, we’ll enjoy a guided tour of charming Asheville, including a stop to see the magnificent St. Lawrence Basilica.  In the afternoon, our guide will take us along “America’s Favorite Drive – the Blue Ridge Parkway,” at a colorful time of year to see it.  We’ll have dinner before returning to our hotel.  We’ll depart for home on Thursday after breakfast, with wonderful memories of our trip.

Franklin Conservatory in Fall

Give yourself a special Autumn treat to Columbus, as we take in the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens and their special Halloween exhibit featuring over 5,000 Pumpkins and 3,000 Mums!  We’ll start with a docent-led, guided group tour of their many exotic wonders, including this spectacular seasonal tribute to Halloween.  The Conservatory is truly a botanical jewel of Ohio and Fall is the perfect season to see it.  After our visit there, we’ll have our own mini-Oktoberfest at SCHMIDT’S Sausage Haus and Restaurant.  We’ll enjoy a German-themed buffet lunch including a one-man, Oom-pah-pah band!  After lunch, we’ll travel to the small-but-mighty, Wagner-Hagans Car museum, a little-known gem with cars of the 1950’s and 60’s.  If time allows, we’ll end up at the Anthony-Thomas Candy Factory, the largest family-owned candy company in the Midwest!  We’ll have a mini-tour to see how they produce 60,000 pounds of candy daily at the facility built upon 104 years and 5 generations of passion to making chocolate!

Small Town America Salutes our Veterans

Come with us to November 06, 1944 as the Olde Main Street Museum of Newcomerstown, Ohio, turns back the clock for a lunch show that is delightful, historic AND patriotic.  We’ll arrive at the 1915 building that started life as a Ford dealership and then became a factory.  After the factory closed, local volunteers saved it and converted it into a charming enclosed Main street, with 23 store fronts that preserve the local heritage.  Our hosts will welcome us as we start with lunch followed by a program of skits and songs that are the perfect Veteran’s Day salute including a sing-along.  After lunch, we’ll have time to explore the museum that holds many artifacts including those of Woody Hayes and Cy Young, the two most notable Sons of Newcomerstown!  Next, we’ll travel to Raven’s Glenn Winery for sampling of their most popular vintages and complete our day at McKenna’s Farm market with everything from Fry Pies, to Amish cheeses to Ice Cream!

The Tannenbaum Wine Trail 4.0!

Set your sights on Wine Country along The Lake Erie Wine Trail and we’ll start at Arrowhead Winery of North East, Pa.  Starting as a winery in 1998, almost all of Arrowhead wine comes from their 250-acre farm.  We’ll go around the corner to Arundel Cellars, a lovingly restored cider mill barn, named after a European Castle.  This gorgeous winery includes the option of BEER tasting!

We’ll enjoy lunch at the historic Sunset Inn of Erie, Pa.  Originally built in 1922 as a private, executive club, this lake front venue offers wonderful views of Lake Erie and the Presque Isle peninsula.  And after lunch, we’ll visit Penn Shore Vineyards, the SECOND OLDEST and one of the largest wineries in PA!  Their wines are delicious and their history is amazing.  We will squeeze in a visit to Pulako’s Chocolatier Shop in Erie.

We’ll complete our day at The South Shore Winery, a must-see, underground stone wine cellar, patterned after European wine cellars.  Part of the Mazza Winery family, the combination of this beautiful and historical setting and over 40 years of winemaking provide a unique and memorable wine-tasting experience.

Kick off your holidays with this annual tradition at our very own Cleveland POPS Orchestra Christmas Concert. 

We’ll arrive early to Playhouse Square with time to view the Festival of Trees in the lobby of the Allen Theatre and enjoy the classic opulence of the Connor Palace Lobby.  The show is always amazing and involves a sing along, so come prepared!  After this holiday extravaganza, we’ll enjoy dinner at the Windows on the River with great view of the riverfront and city skyline.  On the ride home we’ll see the Holiday lights of Public Square.

Columbiana, Ohio (just south of Youngstown) was voted “The Nicest Town in America,” by Reader’s Digest in 2019 and what better time to see it, than Christmas!  We will sightsee the delightful little main street, followed by dinner at the Das Dutch Haus Restaurant and we’ll see the Holiday Lights at Firestone Park.

Join us for a special trip to visit our neighbors in “The Steel City!”  Our local step-on- guide will take us around the city to see the many seasonal decorations including a Larger than LIFE Nativity scene and the amazing Father Christmas displays in the PPG Building complex, that show how Santa is depicted in countries around the world with life size models.  Next, we’ll enjoy an elegant dinner at the wonderfully restored Grand Con- course Restaurant of Station Square.  This unique eatery was created in the main floor terminal of the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie, built in 1901, and offers views of the Pittsburgh skyline.

After dinner, we’ll take in the spectacular Winter Flower and Light Show at the world-class, Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens.  This is a self-guided walking tour of the enclosed and outdoor areas that have been magnificently decorated at every turn.

JKL TOURS has produced a New Year’s Eve at NOON trip for the last 7 years, (and 6 were on the Nautica Queen.)  It is time to try a new adventure and we are going to see the Amish Country Comedy show, in Berlin!  We will start with a fabulous lunch at the Amish Door Restaurant before we arrive at the Theatre for the 2:00 pm. Show.  We are still working on what we’ll see & do before the show, but we’ll head home after, so you are in your jammies watching the evening news, but feel like you were out for New Year’s EVE!
