How To Make A Reservation For Any Of These Tours

  • To hold a reservation, we'll need complete information for everyone attending
  • Once you make a reservation, you will have Two Weeks to mail a $10 (Ten Dollar) NON-Refundable Deposit, per person - per trip, to keep your reservation for a Day Trip. If JKL Tours does not receive a deposit, your reservation will automatically cancel.
  • The Deposit for an overnight trip is $50 (Fifty Dollars) per person
  • Waitlists - because of our success, we have had waitlists for trips. There is no cost to hold your spot on a waitlist AND quite often waitlist people do get called to go!

IF YOU need to cancel your participation for any reason, you will forfeit your deposit.

Historic & Ethnic Cleveland - Part 4

This edition of our history series travels along the Lake Erie shoreline starting with Mr. Gordon’s 1892 philanthropic donation, across the bay from the ore boat sinking that saved Dike 14. We’ll see the Cold War Nike Site along with the secrets of the Millionaire Mansions, as both are part of the lore of Bratenahl. We’ll take in the up and coming Waterloo Arts district before we have lunch at the Lakehouse Café. We’ll discover Wendy Park at Whiskey Island, along with the 2nd original Chinatown. We’ll pop in to the world-famous Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and learn how Cleveland almost lost it, before seeing tiny Hingetown! We’ll complete our day at the largest Arabian Night club in Cleveland with a Buffet Dinner. (Yes, this trip has TWO meals!). We’ll depart at 8:30 am and return about 6:30 pm. “Million Dollar Quartet” at the Hanna

Million Dollar Quartet is the story of how Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley all found themselves together in a Memphis recording studio on December 4, 1956.  This resulted in an electrifying and historic rock-n-roll jam session as they mixed and matched their different styles in a playful and sometimes serious variety of Country Western, Gospel and Blues songs. We’ll catch a behind-the-scenes look at a monumental moment in Rock history as a group of friends sang old favorites, sharing in the pleasure of harmonizing together with just their innate musical talents (and the banter that went with it.)

    Similar to our previous May trips to see Forever Plaid and Beehive, (that Sold Out quickly,) we’ll enjoy lunch at Windows on the River, after the 10:00 am. matinee show  (Please note that Space is limited because of the many groups we have attending.)  Cancellation/refund deadline is March 30.           

International TATTOO-Pipe/Drum Gathering in Cleveland

This family friendly and immensely patriotic event is in the time-honored tradition of the military tattoo, where the Pipes & Drums of numerous police departments throughout the United States and Canada, as well as local groups, combine their talents in a truly spectacular display of pageantry and music.  Join in the remembrance, fellowship and celebration to salute our safety forces, our military and our country and have your breath taken away by this patriotic show.  The year’s presentation is on the Music Stage at historic Cleveland Public Hall.  We’ll have a group dinner prior to seeing this inspirational show.

Summer in Ohio’s Amish Country!

Enjoy our annual Kick-off to Summer in the beauty of Ohio’s Heartland.  We’ll start in the village of Sugarcreek, (Ohio’s Little Switzerland) for a Backroads Tour with a local, Amish guide.  We’ll learn about the culture, charm and secrets of the Amish and the world they live in.  We’ll have time on the little main street to see the World’s Largest Cuckoo Clock, with life-size, costumed figures, and travel to Berlin for an All-you-can-eat Amish Buffet at the Farmstead Inn.  In the afternoon, we’ll continue our backroads adventure with stops including the Hillcrest Orchard of Walnut Creek and Broad Run Winery. Magnificent Michigan and Mackinac Island

Combine the elegance of a Five Star resort, the majesty of Mackinac Island and the charm of Bavarian Frankenmuth and you have MAGNIFICENT MICHIGAN! 

We’ll start our adventure by visiting the unique Cabela’s store of Dundee, as they’ll open up early just for us, with time to see their animal displays and enjoy their café service.  (We’ll include a quick visit to the Russell Stover Candy Outlet store across the street!)

Upon arrival at the Soaring Eagle, the greeter will tell us about the property amenities and provide everyone a $40. Food credit AND a $60. Casino Bonus.  Here is your chance to relax at the luxurious SOARING EAGLE Resort, with time to discover their indoor pool, outdoor hot tub, many restaurants and amenities.   On Thursday, we’ll depart early for St. Ignace and OVER the Mackinac Bridge to take the high-speed Starline Ferry to Mackinac Island (where no cars are allowed.)  We’ll start our Island visit with a marvelous buffet lunch at the GRAND HOTEL.  After lunch, we’ll have time to sit on the porch and take in the fabulous view.  We’ll take a horse-drawn carriage with time to visit the charming shops of the village.  In late afternoon, we’ll return to the mainland and enroute back to our resort.  After we depart our resort on Friday morning, we’ll visit the unique and famous Cops and Donuts Bakery.  Next, we’ll enjoy lunch (included) at the Bavarian Inn of Frankenmuth.  We’ll have a guided tour of the town with a chance to soak in their German culture and shop the main street (or Bronner’s Christmas Shop) before we head home.

Here is a unique trip that combines shopping, a terrific lunch and a special matinee concert that will take you back to the 50’s & 60’s, seeing The Zmed Brothers perform their tribute to The EVERLY Brothers!

We’ll start our day at the Hartville Shopping complex with Summer in full swing and the shopping opportunities range from Flea Market finds to Ohio’s Largest Hardware store and everything in between.  After our morning of bargain hunting, we’ll enjoy a superb lunch in a private ballroom of the Hartville Kitchen, and no one leaves hungry.  It is a plated lunch where you can order your meal tableside (even your choice of PIE!)

After lunch, we’ll stay in our seats for a stroll down memory lane to see and hear “The Everly Brothers Experience!”  This tribute show is presented by The Zmed Brothers, Dylan and Zachary, who are sons of Adrian Zmed – Danny Zuko from GREASE!   As kids, they were heavily influenced by the music of Grease, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly and of course, the Everly Brothers!  Here is your chance to hear classic tunes, like “Bye Bye Love,” “Wake Up Little Susie,” “When Will I Be Loved?” “All I Have To Do Is Dream,” and many more.  Come join us for this nostalgic day of Fun and classic ‘50s/’ ‘60s music.

Calling all “Yard and Garage Sale” enthusiasts to see The World’s Longest Garage Sale, as it passes through OHIO!   Come “SALEING” with us, as we bargain hunt along the historic Lincoln Highway-Rte. 30.  We’ll depart early for Canton, and work our way west searching sales in people’s yards, churches, community parks and town centers.  We’ll meander from one sale to the next, enjoying beautiful rural areas with scenic vistas with lunch on your own in the Wooster area.  We’ll have prizes for best (and worst) BUY of the Day!

“MY WAY” Sinatra Tribute at Rabbit Run

New York, New York,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” “High Hopes,” “Something Stupid,” and “I Did It My Way,” are some of the most popular songs of one of the most popular singers of all time.  While My Way is not a biography, it is a wonderful tribute featuring talented performers, a finely tuned band and tidbits of Sinatra trivia sprinkled in!  We’ll be treated to 50+ Sinatra songs, with some getting the full treatment and others collected in themed medleys. If you’re a Sinatra fan it will be hard to keep from singing along – SO WE ADDED that in!  Rabbit Run will have a few SING ALONGS of memorable tunes of the Chairman of the Board!

Prior to the evening show, we’ll enjoy a lovely dinner at FERRANTE’S WINERY of Lake County.
